What’s Happening in Ocean City, NJ 3/16/22
Ocean City announced Monday that Dave Mason (June 28) and Girl Named Tom (August 15) will perform concerts as part of the 28th season of the Music Pier Summer Concert Series. Tickets go on sale Thursday (March 17) with special presales on Wednesday (March 16).
Dave Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a founding member of the group Traffic, and his solo career includes hits like the Top 10 single “We Just Disagree.” The Music Pier show is part of his nationwide World in Changes tour.
Small-town siblings Bekah, Caleb and Joshua Liechty won Season 21 of the television talent competition “The Voice” in 2021. When Bekah was a baby, Caleb and Joshua wanted another brother, so they called her “Tom.” The distinctive harmonies of Girl Named Tom won the hearts of “The Voice” viewers, and they will perform a mix of chart-topping covers and originals in their Ocean City show.
The shows are presented by the City of Ocean City and the series is co-produced by BRE Presents and Rose Productions. For tickets, visit ticketmaster.com starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 17. Special presales (use code BRE) will be held 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 16.
