OCEAN CITY, N.J. – The Luxe Boutique & Gift Shop owner Kristen Fitzpatrick celebrated the grand opening of her shop at 1326A Asbury Avenue with the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, City and County officials, and members of the community on Thursday, Aug. 28.
Kristen has been an event and wedding planner with her remote business, Luxe Weddings since 2013. In June, she expanded her business to include retail and opened her boutique on Asbury Avenue. The shop features apparel, specialty gifts and a delightful charm bar.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Michele Gillian, Executive Director of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce, thanked Kristen for investing in the community and noted that the beautiful boutique is a wonderful addition to the downtown.
In addition, Cape May County Commissioner Andrew Bulakowski presented Kristen and her team with a proclamation to commemorate the achievement.
Mayor Jay Gillian led the countdown, and Kristen cut the ceremonial ribbon to the applause of employees, dignitaries, and shoppers.
Since March, the Ocean City Chamber has hosted 32 ribbon cutting ceremonies throughout Ocean City and there are more scheduled, signifying continued growth and investment in the downtown, boardwalk and island-wide businesses.
