THE OCEAN CITY HUMANE SOCIETY, named one of the outstanding shelters for its size in the country, needs your help. Tight economic times have put a strain on this fine organization. The facility is working to capacity as additional dogs and cats have been put up for adoption. They could use trash bags, towels, linens and laundry detergent and of course cash donations. The Society is located at 1 Shelter Road off Bay and Tennessee Ave., 609-399-2018. You can always find a friendly dog or cat to adopt from this well run organization.
