On Fri., Aug. 21, a new LITTLE MISS OCEAN CITY will be crowned. Carley Boehning, the reigning Little Miss, will be featured with emcee Ashleigh Udavalos, first runner-up to Miss New Jersey from Millville. Carley, a talented dancer, like her good friend Molly Lavin, has represented the City admirably, attending many events and assisting with our contests. There will be 19 contestants in the 20th Annual Little Miss Ocean City Pageant and it should be a great show. The contest is sponsored by the Ocean City Recreation Division and set for 7 p.m. on Friday at the Music Pier. Tickets are $10, available at the door.

THE RAT PACK IS BACK: For two nights only ( Sun., Aug. 23 and Tues., Aug. 25). Frank, Dean and Sammy reappear to appear with the Ocean City Pops. The show features Broadway stars Sal Viviano as Frank Sinatra, Nat Chandler as Dean Martin and Eric Jordan Young as Sammy Davis, Jr. The shows are set for 8 p.m. at the Music Pier Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. The Junior Company of the Ocean City Theatre Company presents SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL, 7:30 p.m., Sat., Aug. 29 at the Music Pier. Favorite stories of Dr. Seuss come to life as a select group of 6th to 12th grade theatre/dance students perform in this fully staged production directed and choreographed by Michael Hartman. ATTENTION OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES: A big Home Coming event is planned for September 25-26 which will include a football game with Mainland Regional, a Tailgate, Parade and luncheon. A committee spearheaded by Shawna Mulford has been working diligently for weeks on this program which they hope to make an annual event. Commemorative polo shirts are for sale for $25.
