The Ocean City PTA has scheduled a number of events: Here are some:

April 1: The All New Me PTA Fashion Delight show sponsored by the Heritage Surf Shop and the Sneaker Shop 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Intermediate School, 18th and Bay Ave., 4th to 8th Grades-- $3 for adults, $2 for children.

April 2, Movie Night Out, Toy Story III, 6 to 8:30 p.m., Sports and Civic Center, 6th and Boardwalk, $5 for adults, $3 children, 5 and under free. Open to public.

April 8, March Madness, Basketball Game, Parents VS Teachers 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Intermediate School. Half time Show by The Dance Place. $4 Adults, $3 Children. Open to Public. Call 609-517-5949.

The Jazz Series continues at the Ocean City Free Public Library, 17th and Simpson Ave., with the Brazilian Side of Jazz with the John Pruitt Group featuring Gina Roche on Sun., April 3 at 3 p.m. Concert is free in the Main Lecture Room of the Library. Knock ‘Em Dead, a comedy thriller starring the In House Players, is set for Sat., April 2 at 2 p.m. in the Main Lecture Room. Both events are free.

Ocean City Firefighters Relay for Life Team is holding a Golf Tournament fund raiser on April 10th at the Municipal Golf Course for the benefit of the American Cancer Society. Call 609-525-9300 for details.

The City’s Annual City Wide Yard Sale is set for Sat., May 7 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tabernacle Grounds, 5th and Asbury Ave and throughout the City. Call 609-398-4662.

The 4th Annual Return of the Osprey Gala will be held Fri., April 29 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ocean City Yacht Club, 100 Bay Ave. The event includes beverages, Hors D’oeuvres, Food Stations, Silent Auction, Live Animals and Exhibits. Tickets are $50. The dinner supports Operation Osprey which furthers the partnership between Ocean City’s Bayside Center and the Wetlands Institute. It promotes exhibits, field trips and educational activities in order to instill a greater appreciation for the costal environment to the residents and visitors to Ocean City. Call 609-368-1211.

REMINDER: Ocean City’s Annual Earth Day Celebration will be held one day earlier this year, April 16 to tie in with the Doo Dah Parade. The event has been moved to the City Hall Annex Parking Lot, 901 Asbury Ave., so that attendees can enjoy the City’s 26th Annual Doo Dah Parade that will roll by at noon. The Earth Day Program will be held from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. before, during and after the Parade. It will include environmental displays, Green Give Aways, Children’s Activities and Entertainment.

Tickets for the Doo Dah Dinner Theater show honoring Meadowlark Lemon, grand marshal of the Parade, are still available. Get photos with Meadowlark, have a fun evening. REMINDER: Ocean City Post 524 of the American Legion invites you to its Pancake Breakfast, Sun., April 3 from 8 a.m. till noon at the Legion’s facility, 3304 Bay Ave . All you can eat Pancakes and Sausage, Adults $5, Children $3. Includes coffee, tea, milk and orange juice.
