Ocean City's Annual Community Service and Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is set for 1 p.m., Sat., Jan. 15 at the William and Nancy Hughes Performing Arts Center in Ocean City High School, 6th and Atlantic Ave. A soul food dinner will follow the program.

Volunteers Needed: The City is once again cooperating with the Clean Communities Program by holding a City Wide Clean Up on Mon., Jan 17 from 10 a.m. till noon. The event honors the Memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. All families, individuals and groups are urged to volunteer. Supplies can be picked up at 9 a.m. in the Henry S. Knight Building, 115 12 St. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Gloves and Trash Bags will be provided. Volunteers are invited back to the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center, 1735 Simpson Ave. afterwards for food and warm beverages. To participate call the Public Works, 609-525-9262, Ext. 9711.

The Ocean City Arts Center is offering a bus trip to New York on Jan. 27 for the popular Winter Antique Show at the Park Armory 67th St. and Park Ave. Seventy-five exhibitors will show and sell American Ceramics and Glass, Folk Art, Furniture, Paintings and Sculpture and more plus Chinese, English and European Antiques. Cost per person is $38, does not include $20 admission. Drivers tip included. Bus leaves Arts Center, 17th and Simpson Ave., at 9 a.m., departs from New York at 4: 30 p.m. Call 609-399-7628.

January Events at Ocean City Free Public Library, 1735 Simpson,Ave.: A Four Part Series to help folks learn the vocabulary of the Internet including effective search techniques, site evaluation, how to send and retrieve email, set up your contacts and download, Jan. 5, 12,19 and 26.

A photo editing session will be held on Feb. 2. Learn how to upload, retrieve and share pictures. Bring your digital camera with USB Cord as well as flash drive to save your work. Walter Brown in the Main Lecture Room for a free showing of a classic film. Dr. Brown will present each film and discuss how it relates to American Heroes and Myths.
