The Miss New Jersey Pageant gets underway in Ocean City on Wednesday, June 15. The Pageant's parade is set for the Boardwalk starting at 7 p.m. from Fifth Street to 14th Street. Contestants will compete in the Pageant with preliminaries (June 16 and 17) and finals Saturday (June 18). (Until June 16) RESTAURANT WEEK continues in Ocean City.  More than 25 restaurants will offer fixed-price menus during the promotion. Some include two meals for one price, others discounted prices. To see a list of restaurants and menus, visit www.eatinocnj.com.

(June 19) Ocean City Pops presents OPENING NIGHT FEATURING DEANA MARTIN, popular entertainer and daughter of Dean Martin. She will sing some of her dad's most popular hits and also celebrate her "Uncle" Frank Sinatra's 100th anniversary by performing many of his greatest songs. (June 25) ANTIQUE AUTO SHOW: More than 300 vintage vehicles. Show 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tabernacle Grounds, 6th and Asbury Ave. followed by a Boardwalk Parade.

(June 25) Ocean City's 3rd Annual TALENT SHOW & COMPETITION: Talented people with backgrounds in vocal, dance, instrumental, drama, comedy and more will compete for prizes in front of a special guest panel of judges.  7:30 p.m. at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. Tickets are $10 per person with proceeds benefitting the Greater Ocean City Theatre Co.                                                      

(June 26) Ocean City Pops presents THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK: How do you roll up all the music from Broadway, Hollywood, and Tin Pan Alley into one evening? Broadway performers Christiane Noll and Doug LaBrecque join the Pops to entertain you with the music of Arlen, Berlin, Ellington, Mercer, Porter, Rodgers, Hart and Hammerstein and more. 8 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier. (June 27-July 1) JULY JUBILEE, a series of unusual contests leading into the July 4th Celebration. All events start 11 a.m. at the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk. Age Divisions, 5 and under, 6-8, 9-12, Teens, Adults. Admission free.

The contests challenge you to create something unusual out of the following products: Mon. June 27, Taffy Sculpting; Tues, June 28 French Fry Sculpting; Wed. June 29 "That's the Way the Cookie Crumbles" Giant Cookie Sculpting plus Super Hero and Super Villain Impersonation Contest!; Thurs., June 30, Clip Art!  Produce a Work of Art from Paper Clips; Fri, July 1, Beadamania, make yourself a bracelet or necklace (non competitive). (July 2)  BEATLEMANIA NOW, 7 p.m. at the Music Pier. Recapture the mood, the frantic intensity as Beatlemania performs live, on stage, against a backdrop of stunning images which evoke memories of some of the most turbulent decades of modern times, the 60's and 70's.
