Ocean City is a perfect place to celebrate Valentines Weekend. How can you tell that special someone you love them in O.C.? Let Me Count the Ways.

 

l. Treat them to an evening of enchanting love songs and sumptuous desserts. The Ocean City Theatre Company makes it easy. Michael Hartman and Company will provide a program covering both sweets and musical treats on Sat., Feb. 15 at the Ocean City Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace.

 

 

They have been doing this for several years with select professional performers from the Theatre's Broadway series. The upcoming program will feature new songs, new choreography and more staging.

 

Doors will open for desserts and show tickets at 7:15 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 if purchased by 4 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 11th and $25 thereafter. 2.Visit Downtown Ocean City. There you will find over 100 specialty shops plus restaurants to satisfy your Valentine needs. Special Valentine themed gifts, flower, candy and much more are available in this award winning downtown.

 

 

3. Visit the Ocean City Community Center, 17th and Simpson Ave. Enjoy art exhibits at the Arts Center, free, interesting displays at the historical Museum and many activities at the Library.

 

4. Enjoy a scenic ride over the new causeway, the nicest entrance to any seaside resort in the area.

 

Mr. Mature America Update: This Pageant will celebrate the talents and contributions of men 60 years of age and older. It will be held March 22 at the Music Pier starting 7 p.m., preceded by music from the Bubba Mac Blues Band, all members over 60 at 6:30 p.m.

 

The news is that we will present each contestant with a large Dietz and Watson Ham just for being kind enough to enter the contest and raise funds for the Ocean City Ecumenical Council Community Food Cupboard and The Philippine Relief Fund. (Feb. 7) The Ocean City Band Boosters holds it annual Pasta Dinner from 5-7 p.m. at the High School Cafeteria, 501 Atlantic Ave. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 10. Up Coming Classes at the Ocean City Free Public Library: (Sun., Feb. 2) Paper Marbilizing Workshop for Adults. Make unique gift boxes, bags, bookmark and tags using the ancient art form of "Ebru" better known as paper marbilizing. Learn the technique and history of this ancient art.
