Chamber Response Team

One of the responsibilities of the Chamber is being an advocate for its members and the business community. In order to make informed decisions on issues that are brought to the Chamber, the Board of Directors has formed the Chamber Response Team (CRT). The new CRT will start with four committees addressing:

1. Sign Ordinance - the Chamber will work with City Council to address changes to the current ordinance
2. Schools - the Superintendent has requested input regarding issues with the future of the schools in Ocean City
3. Beaches - this committee will look into the possibility of keeping Ocean City's beaches guarded through Labor Day
4. Budget - the Mayor has requested budget input from the business community

These new committees will meet throughout the fall.
