Pedego Ocean City is a fun and fast-paced work environment where everyone works together as a team to get the job done. We are one of the newest retailers of Pedego electric bikes and will become the go-to place for bicycle sales, rentals, tours, and service in Ocean City. We are known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.

We are looking for a Summer Seasonal Sales Associate who is outgoing, self-directed, and high energy. In this full- or part-time seasonal role, you will be part of our amazing, exciting, and fun business of: Sharing the joy of the electric bicycle with the world!


  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be extremely detail oriented.
  • Have a passion (and patience) for teaching others the electric bicycle operations and use.
  • Have previous customer service experience.
  • Be able to handle in-person queries and concerns that focus on bike use, maintenance, damage and repair process, as well as other point-of-sale and clerical tasks.
  • Have a solid level of computer literacy, know your way around multiple PC platforms, e-mail applications, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Consistently demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic, positive attitude.
  • Welcome customers with a smile and greet clients with “Hello Fun!”
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customers in a timely manner.
  • Strive to be an ambassador for a fun and healthy lifestyle.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (highly preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to lift product overhead generally weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extensive time periods; while occasionally walking, kneeling, reaching, or sitting.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees and keeps a team approach in dealing with fellow employees and customers.
  • Contributes to a fun working climate which helps boost employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness.
  • Projects a favorable image of Pedego, inside and outside of the store.


Our store is located in easily accessible, family-friendly downtown Ocean City with ample space to test ride our electric bikes and begin your journey to add more fun into our clients’ beach life.



  • Ability to handle high customer volumes.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Provide expert knowledge of bikes for customers with intro-level questions, doing so with patience, care, and compassion.
  • Sell.
  • Process rental orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare bicycles for customer pick-ups, drop-offs, and returns.
  • Equip tour guests.
  • Handle service claims, acting as the liaison between the company and the clients.
  • Provide follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met.
  • Communicate both positive and negative client feedback to management.
  • Open and close store; general tidying and organization.


Pay commensurate with experience and responsibility.


  • Early May through the end of August.
