On October 12, 2012, the Ocean City Historical Museum will screen “Dial M for Murder” at the Ocean City Public Library’s Lecture Hall. Grace Kelly co-stars in this classic Alfred Hitchcock film which was originally release in 1954. Grace Kelly is considered by some to be Ocean City’s princess as well as Monaco’s. Join us as we enjoy one of her most mysterious films. Even if you aren’t a Grace Kelly fan, you’ll enjoy this film, which was ranked #9 on the American Film Institute’s list of the 10 greatest films in the genre of Mystery in June 2008.
Before and after the movie you will have an opportunity to see a mini-exhibit on Grace Kelly’s life and career. This will also be the last public opportunity to see the Museum’s replica of her wedding dress. The replica of Grace Kelly’s Wedding Dress has been on continuous exhibit for almost three years. For the preservation of the dress, it will be taken off exhibit, but before we do we want to send her off in the best way we can. Join us October 12 at 6pm for a mini-exhibit and movie starring Grace Kelly. Museum members get in free. For all others there is a $2 donation to the Museum to get in. Movie will start at 7pm.
