Henry’s Fine Jewelry, 1236 Boardwalk, has created an on-going program to benefit the important environmental work of Clean Ocean Action. This past summer, the popular Boardwalk Jewelers, created an “Ocean City Beach Badge Bracelet.” A percentage of the sales generated by this popular item is donated to COA.

On Friday, Oct. 2nd at 1 p.m., Henry’s will present a check for $2,200 to Clean Ocean Action. Tory Woods, events coordinator, will represent the environmental organization. Fred Magnamini of Luca & Danni, designer of the bracelet, will also attend along with Jeff Sherman and Nina Camburn-Brown of Henry’s.

Woods will talk about the work of COA and its importance to seaside communities. Clean Ocean Action organizes Beach Sweeps to rid the shoreline and waters of debris harmful to both humans and wildlife. They also sponsor educational programs for adults and youth on the importance of maintaining a healthy environment, and much, much more.

The Public and media are invited to attend the event and presentation by Tory Woods to learn more about Clean Ocean Action.
