New Exciting Adventures Await You on Ocean City Boardwalk

Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce was honored to hold ribbon cutting ceremonies for three new Ocean City businesses.

Brothers Justice and Josh Bolz cut the ribbon at their new exciting adventures on the Boardwalk. The brothers opened Liberty Escape Rooms, Liberty Virtual Reality, and Hot Air Balloon Adventures.

Liberty Escape Rooms is a 30 minute, immersive experience in which 2-10 players enter an alternate reality with the task of solving codes, clues and puzzles to achieve the ultimate objective before time runs out! At their 11th Street location there are three adventures offered; Lost Temple, Wild Wild West, and Space Invasion. Whether it’s a rainy day or you are looking for something to do before dinner with your family, this is a great bonding activity for everyone.

Meredith Corporation's Coastal Living, the leading authority on coastal home and travel, announced today the Happiest Seaside Town in America 2018 is Ocean City, New Jersey. The number-one ranking of Ocean City, along with the rankings of all the Top Ten Happiest Seaside Towns, is the result of an online vote. Now in its seventh year, the 2018 Happiest Seaside Towns ranked list is available online. It will also be featured in the July/August 2018 issue of Coastal Living, on newsstands June 15.

Girls Weekend Kicks off in Downtown Ocean City with Fashion Show

OCEAN CITY, N.J. --- The Downtown Merchants will host a Girls Weekend Fashion Show on April 6th, 2018 to help kick off the third annual Girls Weekend in Downtown Ocean City on April 7th  and 8th, 2018.  The fashion show will be held at Glazed Over Studios located at 704 Asbury Avenue in Downtown Ocean City.  Doors will open at 6pm. Refreshment and local lite fare will be served as you watch local stores on Asbury Avenue strut and model their newest spring and summer fashions down the runway.

Historic Life Saving Station to Open for First Night

Admission buttons are on sale for Ocean City’s New Year’s Eve celebration

First Night attendees will get the first opportunity to visit the newly restored U.S. Life Saving Station 30 at the intersection of Fourth Street and Atlantic Avenue. The station operated in Ocean City from 1885 to 1915 as part of the U.S. Life Saving Service, a precursor to the modern Coast Guard.

A years-long effort to acquire and restore the historic building is nearly complete, and anybody with a First Night admission button will be invited to stop by and tour the station between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 31.
