Call to Artists: OC Arts Center Hosts Juried Art Show in November
The annual Juried Art Show will be held at the Ocean City Arts Center throughout November. Art will be received for judging October 8 through October 26. Prizes are: Best of Show, $200; Second Place, $100; Third Place, $100; and Four Honorable Mentions at $50 each. Artists may submit up to 2 works which have been completed in the past 3 years.

Nationally Recognized Economist, Joel Naroff, to Address OC Chamber
The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Fifth Annual Business Summit, sponsored by Sturdy Savings Bank, on Wednesday, October 17th from 5pm-7pm at Ocean City Yacht Club in Ocean City, NJ. The purpose of the summit is to provide information about the local and regional economy to the local businesses so that they may make informed planning and marketing decisions for next year.

The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce is continuing our proud tradition of hosting “Welcome Night”. This year, “Welcome Night” will be held on Wednesday, October 24th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at its traditional venue at the Ocean City Music Pier. Admission is free and all area residents are encouraged to attend. Fabulous door prizes provided by local businesses will be given out throughout the evening.

2012 OC Halloween Parade
The Ocean City Exchange Club, in conjunction with the City of Ocean City, will be presenting the 65th annual Halloween Parade on Thursday, October 25th beginning at 7:15pm. This Ocean City tradition remains one of longest running Halloween parades in the tri-state area. The parade will march along Asbury Avenue from 6th to 11th Streets.

OCHM Announces Museum Movie Night
On October 12, 2012, the Ocean City Historical Museum will screen “Dial M for Murder” at the Ocean City Public Library’s Lecture Hall. Grace Kelly co-stars in this classic Alfred Hitchcock film which was originally release in 1954. Grace Kelly is considered by some to be Ocean City’s princess as well as Monaco’s. Join us as we enjoy one of her most mysterious films. Even if you aren’t a Grace Kelly fan, you’ll enjoy this film, which was ranked #9 on the American Film Institute’s list of the 10 greatest films in the genre of Mystery in June 2008.
