Seafood Festival: The Night In Venice celebration begins with the Merchants of Venice Seafood Festival, Fri., July 23 from 5 to 9 p.m., extending from 6 to 9th Sts. on Asbury Ave. in the downtown. Admission is free and there will be an array of seafood for sale from over 30 vendors plus entertainment for children and crafters.

Mother Goose, Inc. is coming to town. The Youth Opera Company will present the one act musical comedy July 22, 27 and 29 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Hughes Performing Arts Center, Ocean City High School, 6th and Atlantic Ave. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12, younger than 3 are free. Eat with the characters from 5 till 6 p.m. Hot dog or Pizza, drink, chips and brownie for $5. To reserve tickets leave a message at 609-576-2060.

On July 28 the Post Comedy Theatre comes to town starring Robert Post, actor, puppeteer, juggler and stand up comic performing a series of hilarious vignettes. SHOW HOUSE AT THE SHORE, a project to benefit the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer Fund, is now underway at Wind Song on Wesley, 1501 Wesley Ave. This popular tour is open daily and weekends from 10a.m. till 5 p.m., Wed and Thurs. till 8 p.m. until Aug. 15th. It features the restoration and remodeling of a 1907 Dutch Colonial Beach House. Prominent designers and architects have contributed to the restoration of this home. Show Case House Designers will meet with the public on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. There will also be designer furnishing and accessory sales plus a show house raffle and door prizes. Showcase tickets can be purchased at the site.

Ocean City Farmer's and Crafter's Market begins Wednesday, June 30th and runs every Wednesday through August from 8am-1pm at 6th and Asbury. Jersey Fresh produce and hand made crafts.

Evenings Along Asbury - Open air artists, demonstrations, activities, music, outside dining, shopping and dining specials, free parking, 6th-11th Streets on Asbury, 5-8pm.

Thursdays

Market Days - free pony rides, puppet shows, face painting, music, clowns, balloon sculptures, Downtown, 6th-11th on Asbury, 10am-1pm.

Historic Inn-to-Inn Tours begin Thursday, July 1st and run every Thursday through August. Tours begin at 2pm. Tickets are $13 per person. Trolley boards at the ticket booth at the corner of 7th and Central Ave beginning at 1:30pm. Tickets may be pre-purchased at the Ocean City Welcome Center at 16 East 9th Street. Boardwalk
